If, like me, you enjoy the hunt as much as (or perhaps even more than) the catch, Jeu de Balle is an event not to miss. Called a Marché aux Puces this market has everything.
As many times as I’ve been, I don’t think I’ve seen the same things twice (not counting the boxes of old eyeglasses). The rotation of stuff is just incredible – much of it junk – but this market is something to see.
Not at all unusual to see tribal African Art.
Or electronic junk.
The fossils look real, but who knows?

I think the best way to approach this market is with an open mind – you never know what you might find. But if you see something you like, best not to wait because next week it will likely be gone…
